Throw off your old ways
Throw off your old sinful nature and your former way of life, which is corrupted by lust and deception. Instead, let the Spirit renew your thoughts and attitudes. Put on your new nature, created to be like God —
truly righteous and holy.

Following the Example
Imitate God, therefore, in everything you do, because you are his dear children. Live a life filled with love, following the example of Christ. He loved us and offered himself as a sacrifice for us, a pleasing aroma to God. Ephesians 5:1-2

Excellent things
Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. Keep putting into practice all you learned and received from me—everything you heard from me and saw me doing. Then the God of peace will be with you.

Making the Most
So be careful how you live. Don’t live like fools, but like those who are wise. Make the most of every opportunity in these evil days.

I don’t mean to say that I have already achieved these things or that I have already reached perfection. But I press on to possess that perfection for which Christ Jesus first possessed me.

Intentional living is living a life that matters - on purpose. More than living for our own purposes, deciding to live intentionally means that we live for God’s purposes. Let’s work together to examine what it looks like to live life intentionally for God - looking at Biblical examples of intentional living and using scripture to speak truth into this aspect of our life.
